Why learn Ancient Greek?
Ancient Greek is not simply a language to be translated. It is the language of some of the most influential works ever written. Through the original Greek, you can encounter Homer, Herodotus, Plato, Aristotle, the tragedians and the New Testament in a fundamentally different way. Translations can introduce you to these works. The original allows you to meet them more directly.
